Bridge height errors are preventable—but only if reported, verified, and communicated promptly. By acting quickly, alerting users, and rewarding community reporting, Truckwiz ensures that drivers have the information they need to stay safe on every journey.
How We Hold Ourselves Accountable for Height Errors
1. Immediate Confirmation and Action
When a height error is reported, our team confirms it as quickly as possible. Verified errors are then prioritized for correction and marked clearly in Truckwiz maps.
2. Keeping Users Informed
Once a height error is confirmed, we notify our users through multiple channels:

Website Updates – the error is listed publicly for transparency.

In-App Notifications – drivers are alerted immediately while using Truckwiz.

Map Markers – the affected locations are clearly marked in Truckwiz maps to guide users safely.
3. Incentive for Reporting
Truckwiz values community contributions. The first user to report a verified height error receives 6 months of free access to all reported height errors. This encourages timely reporting and helps keep the network safe for everyone.
4. Rapid Updates to HERE Maps
If the error originates from HERE Maps, we submit corrections immediately and follow up to ensure updates are incorporated into Truckwiz as soon as possible.
5. Continuous Accuracy Checks
We continuously review reported heights, official road authority data, and user feedback to ensure Truckwiz maps remain accurate, reliable, and safe.
